Yesterday,  I had my regular VA (Veterans Administration) physical at the VA clinic in Fort Worth.. The doctor said, “You are rare.” He went on to say that in 26 years of practice he has known of only 3 or 4 people my age (78) who were not on meds. He then asked, “What is your secret?” I told him that I credited it to my relationship with God, prayer, walking two miles per day, and trying to eat well. In this episode, I share in detail what I did not have time to tell the doctor, concerning what I have learned about living a godly, healthy lifestyle.

In a recent intimate Bible study and prayer time that included Pastor Rafael Cruz, father of TX Senator Ted Cruz, a truth came alive in my spirit and has continued to resonate and reverberate in my soul. Sue had a similar experience when I shared it with her. It so clearly expresses what we are about at this time in history. Early this morning I gave a lecture via zoom to the Tyrannus Theological Seminary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They had asked me to address the contributions and challenges of the Charismatic Movement in Asia. I shared an an amazing and humorous story of how a liberal Harvard theologian came to the realization of the incredible contribution of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement to the Church, not only in Asia, but worldwide.
